On IMDb they were rated much higher.
The series “Emily in Paris”, although it seemed a bit creepy to many (all because of the ridiculous outfits of the main character and the stereotypical behavior of the French), was still loved by the audience. As a result, the series has already spread over three seasons and the fourth will be released very soon in two parts: on August 15 and September 12. Review three similar projects to kill time.
“Young”, 2015-2021
This series is created by the same writer (Darren Star) as Emily in Paris. He also worked on the cult “Sex and the City”, so the atmosphere of all three series is similar. The plot here revolves around 40-year-old Lisa Miller. She has recently divorced, leaving her alone with her teenage daughter. Lisa is desperately looking for a job, but age is starting to become an obstacle. Then she decides to pretend to be a 20-year-old girl and gets a job as an assistant to the head of the marketing department of a publishing house. Fans of fashionable outfits and stories about female friendship with a purposeful heroine will definitely like it.
“Bold” (“Capitalized”), 2017-2021
This series is literally a visualization of what would happen if Emily didn’t work at a marketing agency, but as a journalist, and ended up in New York instead of Paris. The main characters are friends Jane, Kat and Sutton. They work at a fashion magazine, while building relationships and getting to know themselves. A light and unobtrusive series that will help you spend the evening after work.

“Plan of Love”, 2018-2022
And this show is worth watching for those who want to see less caricatural French, because they are the ones who created this series. At the center of the story is a girl named Elsa, who is about to turn thirty. She still can’t forget her ex, with whom she broke up a few years ago. This is when the friends decide to help and contact an escort agency, where they hire Jules, who is supposed to have a few dates with Elsa to help her take her mind off things. How this adventure will end, the viewer will have to find out.
