This Turkish series beat ‘Knock on My Door’ and ‘The Magnificent Century’, but in Russia everyone has already forgotten about it (and in vain)

This story of love and greatness ended long ago, but if you find the time to watch the series, it will definitely not leave you indifferent! We are talking about the Turkish project “Resurrected Ertugrul”. The drama was released back in 2014, but it still excites the hearts.

What do Ertugrul and the cult series in the title have in common? First of all, a beautiful picture and an interesting plot, secondly, a large number of episodes, as is customary among Turks. The series was extended over 5 seasons, and these seasons consist of as many as 435 episodes. However, the viewing experience of the patient fan was not spoiled at all.

What sets ‘Resurrected Ertugrul’ of the Universe apart from other ‘local’ series? First of all, the rating. On all platforms, it is much higher than that of “The Magnificent Century” and “Knock on My Door”. And why? Yes, because it is a great series. And that is what matters.

About the life of the legendary Turkish warrior Ertugrul, who fights against the Crusaders and risks his life. And unlike the same “Magnificent Century”, the project was filmed much closer to the historical reality of the Ottoman Empire, and is also full of beautiful landscapes, exciting plot twists, beautiful and talented actors and diverse filming. The writers paid great attention to details, which the creators of “The Magnificent Century” largely ignored, preferring reviews over authenticity.

There may be only one downside to the series: the huge number of episodes. But on the other hand, this is also a plus, because the fun does not last one evening (or even 10 evenings). The editors highly recommend the project to watch. Besides, what else do you need to do in such heat?
