But the events of one of them take place even in Russia.
In the list of premieres of the most important series of the first half of the year you can find science fiction, military drama and even major Japanese confrontations in small America. And one of the projects completely caused a serious scandal in the United States.

We are talking, of course, about “A Gentleman in Moscow”, the description of which alone was enough for some fans of American TV series to be outraged – how is it possible to film something about Russia at such a time. But of course they didn’t film it without the trademark ‘cranberry’, which gives the series a very naive charm.
‘Lords of the Air’ also fascinates with its brutalism and of course with Austin Butler’s performance. This actor is so different from himself in the second part of “Dune” that you wonder how good he is at impersonation.
Viewers in Russia almost certainly missed ‘The Sun Brothers’, but a real drama unfolds before the viewer with the star of ‘Everything Everywhere at Once’, as well as the Taipei Triad and American gangsters.
“Dark Matter” is a film adaptation of Blake Crouch’s best-selling novel about parallel universes. Fans of the “Beyond” series will almost certainly be pleased.
This list could go on almost endlessly, because the number of worthwhile TV series released each month grows by leaps and bounds every year and choosing the best of them becomes increasingly difficult. Also the fantastic ‘Constellation’, the detective ‘The Dark Past’ and the spy ‘The Sympathizer’ with Robert Downey Jr. will not leave you indifferent.
The same can be said about these five films that became popular in the West, but were wrongly missed by Russian viewers.
