Now there may be no more questions about the logic of the blockbuster, but watching it will become sadder.

Exactly one month before the premiere of the highly anticipated threequel Deadpool and Wolverine, a burning moment has finally become clear to millions of fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film will almost certainly be a hit, because the filmmakers have thought everything through down to the smallest detail.

Director Shawn Levy, along with stars Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, spoke about the process of bringing Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) during an interview with Vanity Fair.

Following Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox in 2019, Reynolds pitched dozens of ideas to Marvel, admitting he struggled to find his place in the MCU. And only Levi himself managed to keep the threequel’s story from looking like a piece of cake.

The director explained that the events will take place six years after the events of the sequel, and, judging from the trailers, Wade Wilson will be brought into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the help of the Temporal Variation Administration (TVA). The trailer shows Deadpool being captured by TVA agents and being interrogated by an agent named Paradox.

Most likely, Deadpool will be involved in a mission to save the entire cinematic universe, which could lead to significant changes in Marvel history and the inclusion of several characters from different realities.

This transition will involve multiverses and timelines, as seen in the Loki series. The death of one of Kang’s variants and the actions of the TVA will greatly influence the events of the film.

That said, Levy insists that Logan’s legacy will remain intact: Wolverine will remain dead no matter what happens in his next film. And this will probably make a lot of people sad.

But those who are completely tired of Marvel can refresh their minds with an unexpectedly worthy Netflix horror, painfully reminiscent of Venom.
