INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE by Anne Rice renewed for a third season at AMC

Anne Rice’s Interview with the vampire has been renewed for a third season at AMC ahead of the show’s second-season finale which airs June 30.

The contemporary adaptation of Rice’s gothic novel follows Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson), Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) and Claudia (Delainey Hayles) story of love and immortality, told to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian).

In season three, the vampire Lestat clarifies his history in a way only he can: by starting a band and going on tour. Gabrielle. Nicholas. Magnus. Mario.

Those who must be maintained. They join Louis, Armand, Molloy, Sam, Raglan, Fareed and others we can’t tell you about yet on a sexy pilgrimage through space, time and trauma.

The series is also currently starring Asad ZamanAND Ben Daniels.

The series is executive produced by Mark Johnson – who oversees AMC’s Anne Rice Immortal Universe – Jones, Mark Taylor, along with Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice.
