The actress was ready to play anyone, just to become a star.

Emma D’Arcy quickly amassed a huge legion of fans thanks to her role as Rhaenyra Targaryen in House of the Dragon, but the 31-year-old actress has several worthy projects that few people in Russia have heard of. The charismatic blonde does not limit herself to fantasy and other ‘paranormal’ things and tries out every genre she can get her hands on.

After graduating from art school, Emma appeared in several theater productions in Oxford, Yorkshire and London, including Romeo and Juliet, The Crucible and The Pillowman, but she never managed to find her footing on the stage. But in TV series the first successes came already in 2018.

After playing Naomi Richards in Wanderlust, D’Arcy showed her potential as a dramatic actress, and therefore new high-profile projects were only a matter of time. In ‘Wild Bill’ and ‘Hannah’ the star of the spin-off ‘Game of Thrones’ only had cameo roles, but in ‘Truth Seekers’ she went all out.

This British parody of “Ghostbusters” category B turned out to be an extremely successful series about paranormal enthusiasts who wandered through the country in search of ghosts.

D’arcy is praised for the astonishing range of emotions that the main character of the series gives the audience: during “Seekers of Truth” you can cry from laughter as well as from the sad events that Emma’s character goes through.

And now, if I compare Rainira with the previous heroes of the actress, I cannot even believe that behind the courageous, cunning and ruthless queen of the Blacks there is a rather vulnerable girl who would not hurt a fly in life, and therefore I want to wait for the second episode of “House of the Dragon” with even greater impatience.
