News for racing fans and Brad Pitt. The Formula 1 movie, starring the Hollywood actor, will be released internationally on June 25, 2025. This was reported by the Formula 1 press service.
The film will also be shown in IMAX theaters, among other things. Distributed by Warner Bros. will undertake. Production of the cassette started last year. Filming will continue at the Grand Prix this summer.
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton’s company, Dawn Apollo Films, is involved in the production of the film. Lewis himself serves as a consultant.
Joseph Kosinski will direct the film. In the story, Brad Pitt plays an experienced Formula 1 driver who returns to the paddock to mentor a young driver.
Let us also remind you that work on the film started in the summer of 2023. Especially for the film, the cars were built based on a Formula 2 chassis, very similar to Formula 1 cars. Filming took place at Silverstone, Hungaroring and Daytona.
