Fans, filmmakers, and creatives strongly oppose the idea, but here’s the thing… AI isn’t just “arriving” in Hollywood, it’s already here, and it’s being used more than most people realize.
While some studios have been candid about adopting AI, there’s a whole other side to the story that isn’t discussed.
Behind the scenes, AI is used in multiple stages of the filmmaking process, sometimes even in creative development. The fact is that many people in the industry are unwilling to admit this publicly. There are also non-disclosure agreements in place just to make sure their involvement with AI remains hidden.
It makes sense if you think about it. Artificial intelligence is a hot topic, and no one wants to be dragged to social media to experiment with it. But the reality is that technology in Hollywood has always faced resistance.
From sound in the early days of cinema, to the transition from practical effects to digital, every new tool has faced resistance before finally being accepted. Artificial intelligence is simply the next evolution in that cycle and nothing will stop it.
I’m not advocating artificial intelligence, it’s just the reality of the situation.

Like it or not, AI is here to stay, and as the technology improves at hyperfast speeds, it will become even more integrated into the filmmaking process.
Ultimately, it won’t be seen as a threat but as another tool that creatives can use to tell their stories in new ways. For now it’s Hollywood’s dirty little secret, but one day it will become a normal part of the process.
