Engagement rumors surfaced in March when the couple were spotted buying rings at a jewelry store in Alabama.

He told the publication: “We have known each other for a year. We were best friends and have decided to take the next step in the last eight months.”
Mama June’s relationship, real name June Shannon, with her alleged husband Justin comes after she split from her ex, Genoa Doak, following a difficult relationship.
The mom, who has found fame as the mother of spirited Honey Boo Boo, talked about her time with former “abuser” Geno in an episode of the new reality show, Mama June: Road to Redemption.

He stated on the show that he should have ended his relationship with Geno much sooner than he did and revealed why he didn’t.
Speaking to the camera, Mama June said, “You know, I should have dumped Geno a long time ago. He was accused of domestic violence. I shouldn’t have given up on them, but I was scared like many women.”
Mom’s previous relationships include being with Mike Thompson, known as the Sugar Bear on the show; the couple have been engaged for 16 months.
She and Sugar Bear decided to break ties after a tumultuous relationship that ended in September 2014.
Although the two never officially married, they held an engagement ceremony.
In 2019, June and Geno were arrested following a domestic dispute and she shared fears for her life after the accident.
