
EXCLUSIVE: British The Voice star Jamie Miller has spoken about her close relationship with her coach, Jennifer Hudson, with whom she is still in contact, six years after the show.
Jamie Miller wowed the nation with her amazing voice when she appeared on The Voice UK in 2017 after performing James Bay’s song Let It Go.
During his time on the show, Jamie, 24, wowed the judges every week as he continued to progress on the ITV talent show.
After impressing the judges and fans, Jamie made it to the grand finale where he performed Justin Bieber’s hit What Do You Mean.
Now, six years into his period, Jamie has exclusively revealed that he has been in frequent contact with his coach Jennifer Hudson, who continues to be a source of inspiration for him.

He said: “Even today we keep in touch, he is one of the sweetest people I have ever met.
“She was really instrumental in mentoring and I texted her just a few weeks ago – she’s so lovely and working with her and her talent is amazing, but knowing her as a person is completely different.
“You see through the heart, you hear the stories, she really cares about me, it’s great to know her and protect me.”

The Welsh star added: “My manager and I were in New York just a few months ago and we were walking down the street and we met her.
“It’s crazy how life works and I just pinch myself.”
Jamie continued: “Behind the scenes I only saw her as Jennifer, she made me feel good and I felt like I deserved to be there and she gave me advice that I am considering now.

“I’m very grateful and I think The Voice was just a stepping stone in the career I want to follow.
In addition to being a fan of Jennifer, Jamie was completely blown away when he found out that Khloé Kardashian was also a fan of hers and shared her music on her Instagram.
The business woman was blown away by her killer voice and wanted her millions of followers to know it too.

Reflecting on when Khloé shared her material, she said, “My mom ran to my room and said ‘someone named Khloé Kardashian posted about you’ and I was like ‘yes whatever’ and then I looked at my phone. and it exploded.
“It was crazy for me, everyone watches The Kardashians because it’s so good and I feel it hits the spot when people like that follow me and text me saying how talented I am.
“It was really special and made me popular with my group of friends.”
