“Coincidentally, Nastya flew with Alexander Akopov from America. He was then at the helm of Amedia. And during the journey she so charmed him, made him laugh, seduced him, you could probably even say the role became hers. He saw Vika’s babysitter in her.”
At the same time, Sergei Zhigunov had a completely different version of this issue. Years ago, the artist who played Maxim Shatalin recalled the first auditions of his future partner and admitted that he did not believe that she would ultimately be lucky to beat Nonna Grishaeva and other main candidates for the role of Victoria Prutkovskaya.
“Nastya auditioned in a very strange way. Not at all the way he plays now. Such a quiet girl came, I saw and thought: what is this? Why torture someone, calling him for auditions? He will never participate in this project, it can be seen with the naked eye,” the artist said on Ekaterina Dubakina’s YouTube blog.
Judging by the rare images of her first screen tests, Zavorotnyuk really felt somewhat insecure, but it was clear that before us was an actress with excellent charisma and enormous potential.
Therefore, it is possible that the “secret” of the actress, which was revealed to the public only after her death, will turn out to be nothing more than an attempt by those not close to Anastasia to draw attention to themselves.
