Big Brother host Emma Willis has denied reboot plans, revealing that she thinks the show “needs more time” to air.

The 46-year-old host hosted the iconic reality show when he switched from Channel 4 to Channel 5 and appeared on Tuesday’s (May 31) episode of This Morning.

Speaking with presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, who previously appeared as Big Brother contestant and host respectively, Emma shared her doubts about the show’s return.

Amid speculation about Big Brother returning to the screens, Emma said: “I miss her a lot, but I think she needs more time.” [off air].

Emma later admitted that she would be ready for a Big Brother reboot if she kept the spirit of the original series.

Of the original transmission, he then added: “[I most enjoyed] how real it was

“I think if you go back to the day it started and how it shocked us all, it was just phenomenal.

“If he could do it again, and if he went back, that’d be great, wouldn’t it?”

Last month it was reported that ITV bosses were considering a Big Brother reboot on ITV in hopes of attracting a “new audience of younger fans.”

A source previously told The Sun: “ITV hosts big date television.

“They know better than anyone how to organize big live events.

“They think putting it on ITV2 will open it up to a new audience and a legion of young fans.

“They are very interested in completing the Big Brother deal and hope to have something solid to announce soon.”

Earlier this month, former Big Brother host Rylan Clark also hinted that the show may be back.

This morning airs from 10am Monday to Friday on ITV.
