“When Poche was not filming, she was locked in her hotel room and could not leave without a ‘cast wrangler’ accompanying her.” She was specifically prohibited from interacting not only with other contestants, but also with random hotel guests and staff. In some ways, and this is shared by many participants, Poche felt like a prisoner.”
“This dispute is ripe for adjudication as Delirium has commenced arbitration proceedings against Poche for alleged breach of its illegal confidentiality agreement,” the lawsuit continues.
“Poche claims that the agreement itself is illegal and unenforceable and brings this action to defend its legal rights under California law.”
In the lawsuit, Poche also claims her devoted partner, Carter, was “unemployed, addicted to drugs and alcohol, estranged from his family, homeless, violent and afraid,” according to TMZ.
In the reality show, contestants go into private pods to meet their dates without being able to see them.
Before they can finally get to know each other, they must become engaged.
Poche said she initially got along well with Carter, but soon realized he lied and that Delirium must have known about Carter’s “vexing problems” and “mental instability” because candidates were subjected to strict background checks.
She claims that spending time with Carter scared her, but producers forced her to film with him for long periods of time.

Dang sued producers for firing her after she warned them of the alleged assault.
The lawsuit resulted in false imprisonment as Dang claimed she was forced to be present in her hotel room.
At the time, Love Is Blind creator Chris Coelen spoke to People and said he was “never told that.” [Dang] felt unsafe or bothered by the accusations she made.
Delirium TV and Kinetic Content also called the claims baseless.
