

Britney Spears42 years old, and his mother, Lynne Lances, 68, may have reunited for the pop star’s birthday earlier this month, but that doesn’t mean things are back to normal. A few weeks after the anniversary reunion, a source close to the couple said. US weekly that mother and daughter did not spend holidays together. “Britney understands that her mother would like her to come visit for Christmas, but she felt it was too soon,” the source said.
Additionally, the magazine’s source noted that Britney is taking the time to mend her relationship with her mother. “Britney is willing to repair her relationship with Lynne, but she wants things to develop organically and without forcing anything,” she said. The “Toxic” hitmaker is reportedly in “a great place” and she “would like to continue her relationship with her mother.”

Brit “wants to take her time” when it comes to getting closer to her mother again. “She doesn’t feel the need to rush anything,” the source said. In early December, she told another source US weekly that Brit would be willing to spend the holidays with her mother. They claimed that the singer was willing to “make time to celebrate the holidays with her mother and brother.” [Bryan Spears].”
As previously mentioned, Britney and Lynne spent time together for the mother of two’s birthday on December 2. Following the celebrations, Brit took to social media to express her gratitude for the way her celebrations went in a now-deleted post. “Being hugged by my family this year and knowing that you have people to count on…DAMN, I feel BLESSED!!!” she captioned the post at the time. “I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!”
Dec. 4, a source said TMZ that Lynne and Britney had a “meaningful” visit. The source went on to say that the mother-daughter duo were “two peas in a pod” during her birthday celebrations and are “definitely in a better place.” Lynne also took to Instagram on Nov. 9 to deny online rumors that she had thrown away some of Brit’s things.
“@britneyspears I’m not sure who told you I got rid of your dolls and diaries, but I would never do that! “It would be cruel because I know how much they mean to you,” she wrote at the time (see above). “They are also special to me because of the years we spent collecting them. Of course I still have your stuff and will be happy to send it to you if you want. Please let me know how much I love you!
Lynne is also the mother of Britney’s sister, Jamie Lynn Spears32.
