Evan Ross wished his fans a Merry Christmas this week by posing for a photo from his holiday family gathering.
Family members who attended the celebrations included Evan’s wife, Ashlee Simpson, as well as his world-famous mother, Diana Ross.
It’s nice that everyone in the photo, including the glamorous Diana, wore a cozy bear costume.
They all gathered in the backyard for pictures and posed under elegant seasonal decorations like twinkling lights and red and gold baubles.
The photo, posted on Boxing Day, featured Ashlee and Evan’s children Jagger, 8, and Ziggy, 3, as well as Ashlee’s son Bronx, 15.

Ashlee welcomed the Bronx in 2008 with her first husband Pete Wentz, a musician who rose to national fame as part of the band Fall Out Boy.
Some of Evan’s siblings were also on hand for the Christmas photo, including his sisters Chudney Ross and Rhonda Ross Kendrick and their brother Ross Naess.
Notably absent, however, was his most famous sister, Tracee Ellis Ross, an actress best known for the sitcoms “Girlfriends” and “Black-ish.”
Apparently leaving Los Angeles in search of a white Christmas, Tracee posted an Instagram video of herself dancing through the snow in an undisclosed location.
Ashlee’s sister Jessica Simpson, who has three children with ex-NFL husband Eric Johnson, is also missing from Evan’s family photo.
Shortly after Thanksgiving, Tracee revealed what Diana wanted for Christmas this year: a wish that Evan’s photo will fulfill.
“All my mother wants is to be with the children and grandchildren,” the petite actress told People magazine. “That’s it.”
As for the gifts, Tracee lovingly joked, “Oh, my mom loves everything. I swear to God, you could look at my mom and say, ‘I hugged you with all my heart,’ and she’d say, “It’s beautiful.”

Tracee explained that matching family costumes are a Christmas tradition – and revealed that Diana and Chudley were the ones who decided on the gimmick.
“My mom took us to a costume house to take the family photo. And we went to a costume house and we all wore Victorian clothes,” Tracee offered.
“We just went to camp. We all put on my mother’s coats and put on all her coats. Everyone. The children wore big coats. It’s impressive.’
To show her festive spirit, Diana also released a popular Christmas album in 1994 called “A Special Season”, which included such standards as “White Christmas”, “Winter Wonderland”, “Silent Night” and “The Christmas Song”.
Five years ago, the album was expanded and reissued, with new songs such as “O Little Town Of Bethlehem” and “The First Noel”.
