Ellie Leach broke down in tears on Strictly: It Takes Two when she received a heartwarming video message from her famous cousin.

The former Coronation Street actress, 22, and her professional partner Vito Coppola are favorites to win the Glitterball trophy in Saturday’s final.

The actress became emotional when she was shown a video montage of her family during an appearance on the spin-off show.

Her real cousin Brooke Vincent, who played Sophie Webster in Coronation Street, sent warm messages of support to Ellie.

She said: “Ellie is the most beautiful person. Each week as we watch her, it’s like we see a new part of her emerge.

“She’s grown as a woman, her confidence has grown, she’s just glowing! ‘Just go out there and have the best time!’

Wiping away tears as she watched the clip, Ellie said: “I think we just live in the present. “We always said: Live in the present and don’t think too much about the future because then you miss the small details,” the soap star said earlier this week.

“I just wanted to have fun and make Vito proud.” I wanted to make my family proud and I wanted to make myself proud.

“I think I did!” For me, it feels like I’ve already won!

“But if we lift the glitter ball, it will be an incredible feeling and I’m so grateful for the whole experience. “It would be great, but I really feel like I’ve already won.”

Ellie played Faye Windass in Coronation Street from 2011 until earlier this year, when she left the soap.

The star will compete with her dance partner Vito (31). Layton Williams And Bobby Brazierto win the Glitterball trophy.

During another appearance in It Takes Two, Vito spoke about the rumored romance with the Corrie star, saying: “We have to think about so many things, you know, and choreography and move up and down, left, right, diagonal.”

Ellie said:

Ellie said: “I just wanted to have fun and make Vito proud.” “I wanted to make my family proud and I wanted to make myself proud.”

“And when we’re done, we’ll have time to eat quickly. We’re going to sleep because we need the energy to go on.”

“After we go home, let’s make sure we get some sleep, we have to go back the next day.”

The choreographer made it clear that despite their strong bond, the two will focus on rigorous training to try and win the Glitterball trophy.

“We’re really so focused on all these great experiences. We just had a really good relationship, a 50/50 partnership from the beginning,” Vito said.

Ellie added: “I think we’ve obviously been dancing together for so many weeks? We’ve been together every day for three months.

“And you really need strong cooperation to be able to rely on each other.”

Strictly Come Dancing: The Final takes place on Saturday 16 December at 7pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
