diddyThe 54-year-old looked stressed and solemn in new photos taken just a day after his ex CassiaThe 37-year-old man revealed that he had “amicably” settled a lawsuit she filed against him. The rapper sat outside his Star Island mansion in Miami, Florida on Saturday with his former chief of staff as they had what appeared to be a serious conversation, in new photos, which were published by TMZ. The two wore casual clothes on the outing and he was having a drink.
At one point, Diddy put his head in his hands and looked at the ground while appearing deep in thought. After a while he got up and went back to his house.
The photos come after Cassie, who he dated for 11 years, accused Diddy of alleged rape and abuse “for over a decade.” She filed a lawsuit regarding the claims in Federal District Court in New York City, NY, on November 16 and released a statement to The New York Times Soon after. “After years of silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story and speak on my behalf and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships,” she said in the statement.
Court documents allege that after meeting Diddy in 2005, he developed a “pattern of control” over her. The outlet also reported that Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Ventura, claimed that the award-winning hitmaker would “drug” her and allegedly “beat her up.” She also accused him of “forcing her to have sexual relations” with “prostitutes” and of filming her “encounters”.
Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, quickly denied the allegations through his lawyer. Ben Brafmann. “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and scandalous allegations,” the legal representative said. “For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subject to Ms. Ventura’s persistent demand for $30 million, under threat of writing a book that would have a detrimental impact on their lives.” report which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail. Although she withdrew her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to legal action filled with baseless and outrageous lies aimed at tarnishing Mr. Ventura’s reputation.
On November 17, Cassie publicly announced that she and Diddy had settled the lawsuit. “I have decided to resolve the matter amicably, on the basis that I have some level of control,” she said in a statement, via ABC News. “I want to thank my family, fans and supporters for their unwavering support.”
Diddy also made a similar statement. “We have decided to resolve the matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love,” she said.
