Benji Marshall has revealed that he has received a generous amount of money to star in the new season of Celebrity Apprentice Australia.
The 37-year-old former NRL star revealed at Monday’s Scrum with Emma Lawrence, Benji Marshall and Brent Read that he is “paid a lot more” than any other celebrity.
“The first week people started talking about how much they were getting paid and I already said ‘yes’ but I got paid a lot more,” he said.

“Let’s just say I’m really happy,” she admitted.
Benji went on to explain how he marketed his salary for the show.
“I was on vacation in Whitsundays and my manager called me and said this was the offer and I said ‘too low, that’s not enough, double it up’,” she said.
“He called right away and said ‘done,’ so I got on the plane the next day to shoot.”

It came after Rebecca Zemek became the first contestant to be eliminated. At the premiere of the Celebrity Apprentice Sunday night.
The Married At First Sight star was fired by Lord Alan Sugar after Turia Pitt accused him of being “manipulative” in his debut match.
Turia chose to invite Bec and The Real Housewives Of Melbourne star Gamble Breaux into the boardroom with her.
It didn’t take long for Bec to accuse Bec of being “manipulative” and “condescending” during her golf challenge.
“I felt like Bec was someone who was manipulative, belittled, and belittled me,” Turia said.

“I think when you’re on a team you have to trust your teammates and I don’t trust Bec for the way she treats me.”

But he was unimpressed and replied: ‘I’m not talking about money. I’m talking about being a team player.
“Because you were fired,” said Lord Sugar.
