Jason Momoa put his work commitments aside as he was put to the test this weekend for an apparent head injury.
The actor was somewhere in Rome to shoot high-octane scenes for Fast X, the 10th installment of the hugely popular Fast & Furious movie franchise.
But a recent Instagram post suggested that Momoa, 42, staged an attack on the Italian capital’s set while the actor’s head was in braces while preparing for an MRI.

Capturing the image showing the muscular star’s prostate outside the cylindrical scanner, he wrote: “You have to break some eggs to make an omelet. aloha j. I am grateful for my ohana and my friends. [sic]
The post caused inevitable concern from followers, with the comment: ‘Oh no! are you okay mate?’
He added a second: ‘I hope the doctors find the problem and can help solve it!! Send healing feelings.
Elsewhere, a third wrote: ‘I hope this is a scene from a new movie… If not, my prayers are high!!! Much love, aloha!’

When asked why he kept getting hurt during filming, the actor cites his enthusiasm for the job as the main reason.
“I’m just giving a little,” he said. “I love my job and that excites me a little too much. It’s a matter of age. I am an aging superhero now.”

Momoa has been busy for the past few years, but also has a number of future projects in the pipeline.
The actor has already wrapped up filming The Last Manhunt, the story of an Indian couple who run away after someone commits murder for love.
He’s also rumored to play the lead role in Cliffhanger, a remake of the 1993 movie of the same name, in which a mountaineer is implicated in the plot of a group of robbers.
No plot details have been revealed for Fast X, although star producer Vin Diesel made headlines in November when he asked former lead actor Dwayne Johnson to return for a “key” role in the film.
Fans will have to wait a little longer, as the movie is expected to be released widely in 2023.
