Did I hit anyone? Did anyone get hurt?’” he said. “And I said, ‘I don’t know.'”

Police said they do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash CBS News. The restaurant owner also said he had personally spoken to Alan and that he seemed fine. “He actually seemed perfectly fine. There were no problems that I could see. “The police officer examined him,” he said. “He was very consistent. He spoke to me as if everything was fine. “He WAS instantly concerned the whole time, just concerned about everyone else, which I really appreciated.”

The witness also said that after analyzing the footage he realized that they were lucky that no one got hurt. “If it had been a second earlier, there were people in the crosswalk who would have been hit. “It was just incredible and no one was seriously injured,” he said.

Following the incident, a 32-year-old man was hospitalized and the building was cordoned off with yellow tape due to structural damage. The pizzeria was not open on Wednesday KTLA. The owner of the pizzeria, Walter Rosales, told CBS News that many customers were delighted. “Last night was very difficult, all the people crying … because they know about us, they’ve known for so many years, they were crying and thanking God that we were alive,” she said.
