The girl promised that the public would hear about her again.
Evgenia Vlasova captivated the judges in the first season of the show “You’re Super!”, in which children from orphanages could show their talents. Seven years later, she returned to the project and showed everyone how much she had grown professionally. Unfortunately, the singer could not qualify for the semi-finals due to Ani Lorak’s decision.
How she made this decision, what she plans to do next, what she thinks about Ani Lorak and what her communication with Anastasia Zavorotnyuk was like – PopCornNews talked about this with a participant in two seasons of “You’re Super!”

— What are your impressions of the super season? How did you feel when you realized you would be participating in a televised competition again?
— Impressions from the super season are only positive! I really liked that guys from other seasons arrived and a kind of team of seasons was formed, but despite this there was no separation between the seasons and we all became very good friends almost from day one.
In general, how it happened, I was just practicing the piano, and my mother calls me and says: “Zhenya, they called me with” You are super!”, You passed on Skype (this is the next round after the video application ).” I actually burst into tears and was very happy about it because after the first season I applied for the project five times. And the producer called me right away, we discussed everything and set a date. A week later I had an online audition and three days later they called me and said: “Zhenya, we invite you to the project, you passed! We congratulate you!”
The emotions were just unreal, I was very happy, I jumped with happiness throughout the university!
— Too bad your participation in the super season is over. How did you make the decision of Ani Lorak? Was it offensive?
— To be honest, when I was on stage, I somewhat disagreed with Ani Lorak’s opinion. Well, at least I listened carefully to the instructions of the entire jury and drew conclusions from them. I wasn’t offended, because I was already proud of myself that finally, after such a long period, I was the only one to participate in the super season since the first season. In the first season, when I was interviewed after the second show, they asked me, “Are you coming back?” I said, “I’ll definitely be back!”
And I have just tried, practiced and achieved this result of re-entering and remembering this stage, feeling all the emotions, feeling nostalgia and expressing myself again, and I am incredibly grateful to my parents for their support and my beloved teacher Olesa Aleksandrovna Chernikova.
— What is the difference if you participate in such a show at the age of 11 and at the age of 18?
— In fact, the difference is very big, starting with organizational issues. If my mother decided everything for me at the age of 11, my mother had contacts and I actually went with my mother, then I was already traveling here alone, almost an adult child, I communicated directly with the producer, with all the administrators and was responsible for myself. Going into the first season, no one quite understood what was going to happen. To be honest, I didn’t even know I was going to a television competition, I was just going to sing songs.
A serious realization came to me when we arrived on set for rehearsals. When I went already for the seventh season, I understood where I was going, why I was going, what I would do there, and I already understood that I had a big responsibility!
It can also be noted that in the first season there were 100 participants, and in the seventh season 50. In the first season I communicated with literally four boys my age, and already in the seventh season I was very sociable and friends with everyone .
— What is the atmosphere like behind the scenes of the show? Were there misunderstandings between the participants or perhaps interesting cases, of course also with the star jury? Tell me more.
— The atmosphere behind the scenes of the show is very pleasant and friendly, despite the fact that the participants are your friends and competitors at the same time. But no matter what, we always supported each other. Also, I turned 18 years old on the project, such an important date, and the girls I became friends with there (we literally knew each other for three days) simply congratulated me on my birthday. This stayed in my memory forever, it was very sincere, very kind. There were no conflicts or omissions; all the guys were very nice and honest.
There were no interesting cases with the star jury. I still remember the moment when we were selected for the semi-finals and the judges came up to us and hugged us. Alexey Vorobyov came to me, hugged me very tightly, kissed me on the forehead and said: ‘You are great, you are cool. You did everything perfectly!”

— Very often the press discusses whether children should participate in shows like “The Voice” or “You’re Super!” What do you, participants, think the show offers for children?
— It seems to me that for a participant who lives from his business, the show gives impetus for the future, obviously brings a range of enormous emotions and experiences.
— Are you still looking at projects of this size? For example, maybe you want to try out ‘The Voice’ now?
— Lately I’ve been watching “The Voice.” No more children.” It turned out interesting: the seasons turned out to be “the same” in format, and the guys from previous seasons participated. After the broadcast with me, everyone writes to me, congratulates me, they are very happy for me and I repeatedly see messages asking me to apply for “The Voice” and other projects. But I don’t know yet, now that I’ve started studying, competitions and other worries, so time will tell, maybe you’ll see me again!
— It was really cool when Anastasia Zavorotnyuk came to the show to support you. How it was?
“I remember that I was standing next to Vadim Takmenev, he asked me who my favorite actress was, and out of excitement I forgot the name of the actress, and I said very calmly and modestly:” Anastasia Zavorotnyuk.” I was afraid that I remembered the wrong name. And when I saw her go on stage, I was incredibly happy to see her!
— Did you continue to communicate after filming? What can you say about her as a person? What impression did it make on you?
— Unfortunately, no, we did not continue communication after filming. When I saw her for the first time, I felt a very clear energy from her, she was of course so open and beautiful. When she came to me and hugged me, I felt her trembling a lot and being as worried as I was. Anastasia Zavorotnyuk also gave me a pendant in the shape of an angel with a harp – my talisman since the first season. I have it at home and keep it very carefully.
— Zavorotnyuk then said that you have to act in films. Do you want to become an actress yourself? Perhaps there have already been offers from directors? Or do you see a future life on stage?
— Of course I would really like to become an actress, and probably even train in acting, but after musical training, of course. And so I believe that the activity of an artist includes acting, through which we can convey the image. I don’t know yet what my future life will be like. Now I am studying at the Sverdlovsk College of Art and Culture in the department “Solo Choral Folk Singing”, and my diploma will be folk singing, so what will happen next, life will teach.
— If you could choose any Russian singer as a mentor, who would it be and why? Regardless of this project, in general, everyone who is on the Russian stage.
— If I could choose a Russian singer or singer as a mentor, I would choose singer Elka and Tina Kuznetsova. Christmas tree, because she has remained in my heart from the first season, she is very smart, kind, just like her work. I really like her. And Tina Kuznetsova, because she is a singer who sings folk songs in pop style, and I would like to learn some new tricks, new techniques and so on from her.
— Has participating in the project had an impact on your personal life? Maybe there are already fans? Do they recognize you on the street? Maybe there are boyfriends who write love letters on social networks?
— Participation in the project did not affect my personal life in any way, I have fans, they write on social networks, I try to respond to everyone. People recognize you on the street, but not often. I haven’t had to read any love letters yet (laughs).
— How does communication with old friends work now? Not everyone knows how to accept someone else’s success; sometimes friendship is destroyed by jealousy…
— Upon arrival in Kamensk-Uralsky, and later in Yekaterinburg, of course, all my family and close friends congratulated me and supported me. In general, my best friends always support me in all my endeavors and are always ready to help. I haven’t met any jealous people or people who want to do me harm, and I hope I won’t meet them either.
– What would you do differently if you weren’t singing? Maybe you have a hobby that has nothing to do with theater?
— In general, I have many hobbies thanks to my beloved parents. They taught me this from childhood. Since the first grade I went to many clubs: swimming, art school, dancing, and therefore I am a very creative person. I love weaving with beads, drawing, and I also really love weaving braids. And if it hadn’t been for music, I would probably have tied my life to sports, swimming or becoming a hairdresser. As a child, I was very fond of swimming, but when the results began to show both in creative activities and in sports, we were told that we had to choose, because to achieve any success, we have to work hard. A seven-year-old child will not be able to withstand such a load, so I chose music. In principle this choice was easy for me; my parents constantly told me how, when I was still three years old, I composed my own songs, sang, danced and gave concerts at home with guests.

– What plans do you have for your future life?
— Plans for future life: finish college, preferably with excellent grades, and go to college. But if we talk about our immediate plans, it is to study and improve our vocal technique in both folk and pop styles. I would really like to release my song, shoot a video, but in general I have a lot of creative plans and goals, I hope I will realize them all. Soon you will see and hear everything!
