Frunzik Mkrtchyan is known to several generations of viewers as a comedian. However, few people know what fears and unrest occurred in his life.
He was born into a large working-class family. Parents, students from an orphanage, worked in a factory and had difficulty making ends meet. My father drank and was very demanding. However, this did not save him from problems. At one point, a man was arrested for stealing highly valuable substances from a factory. The woman raised four children alone.
When he came of age, Frunzik Mkrtchyan became an actor. He also met his future wife on set. The beautiful Donara Pilosyan gave birth to two children and after a while she was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Her husband sent her to France for treatment, where their son later received the same diagnosis.
In the last years of his life, the artist abused alcohol. He died in 1993. Mkrtchyan’s daughter died of cancer five years later. In 2003, his son also died, and in 2011 the actor’s widow died in a psychiatric hospital.
