Heather Rae El Moussa posted a “bittersweet” parenting update on Instagram on Wednesday.
The 36-year-old reality TV star, who proudly shared her son’s milestones with fans, revealed she is “a bit sad” because Tristan no longer wants to breastfeed at eight months pregnant.
The Selling Sunset beauty posted two sweet photos with her little one, along with a lengthy caption explaining her breastfeeding journey.

“I want to say that I’m very proud of myself for lasting this long. “I reached my goal of four months and then six months and I’m proud of my Tristan bear,” Heather continued.
“As a newborn baby, breastfeeding was initially difficult for him because he had problems with his tongue, cheeks and lips. But we were a team. “It was definitely not the easiest process and I had so many tearful nights and stressful times.”
“Breastfeeding is so incredibly difficult at first and I often wondered if I was drying out or if he was getting enough milk.”

She continued: “After reading about it we decided to start with something less sweet first because babies love sweets (of course lol) so he tried pureed organic avocado first and he absolutely loved it.”
