The previous version has been debunked.
Producer Yevgeny Morozov was wrong when he thought the strong ticket sales to Galkin’s concerts in Israel were due to the artist’s Jewish roots.
According to star columnist Anton Bekkuzhev, that is not the reason.
“Let’s face it: For more than 20 years of his career, Maxim Galkin has managed to gain an impressive army of fans. Yes, against the background of recent statements, some fans turned away from him, but there are those who continue to love the work of the comedian. Many Russian-speaking people live in Israel, so it is not that difficult for Maxim to set up a concert hall there. Moreover, we take into account that Galkin has not been giving concerts there for a long time, which means that the public interest can be high’, he says.
The journalist emphasized that the hype can be provoked by the media.
“The enormous discussion in the press also did its job. It seems to me that almost everyone came across information about the comedian’s Israeli tour. The scandals surrounding his name just gave Pugacheva’s husband free publicity,” Anton Bekkuzhev told PopCornNews.
