The much-loved vet is about to leave Channel 10 for rival Seven, completing his tenure with Julia Morris.
According to a report this week in the Herald Sun, a number of cast members have been named who could possibly succeed the attractive TV star.
Joel Creasey was previously a contestant on the show and is touted as a shoo-in for a potential role.
Darren McMullen, who is a main star on Ten and previously presented The Real Love Boat, has also been mentioned as a possibility.

Neighbors star Rob Mills, Dave Thornton and The Project’s Sam Taunton are also mentioned as possible signings.
Chris and his co-star Julia Morris are known to be friends off screen and she recently praised him in TV Week magazine during his farewell.
“Life is life and we roll with it. Luckily we have a close friendship so it didn’t rock the boat,” she said.

Julia also revealed how dr. Chris broke the news to her of his move to Channel Seven.
They were filming the dance promo for the new season of I’m a Celebrity when he said: “Hey, can I bend your ear?”
She joked that at first she thought he would ask her out, only to reveal he was leaving the show and Channel Ten.

“I thought, ‘Finally, here we go.’ He’s going to ask me out.’ There was a step, a curve, a dip and then, well…,” she said.
Dr Chris announced his departure from Ten in February after 15 years with the network.
He first joined Ten in 2008 to present Bondi Vet, which became a surprise hit and was syndicated around the world.
The actual series was based on his practical experience as a vet at Bondi Junction Veterinary Hospital in Sydney East.

He became a part-time panellist on The Project and co-hosted I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and The Living Room, which was canceled last year.
The move to Seven is important for Dr. Chris likes a homecoming.
He began his TV career in 2003 as the host of Harry’s Practice on Seven, a role which earned him a Logie nomination for Favorite New Talent.
