The ruthless media mogul – played by veteran actor Brian Cox – may have become one of Britain’s most hated television characters, but his flamboyant style is inspiring makeovers across the country.
Design experts say the posh homes of New York’s Logan and The Hamptons have become a template for thousands of renovations.
According to fashion and home brand La Redoute, searches on Google for home styles containing the term “Success” increased by 5,000 percent after the Easter weekend episode in which Logan was killed. An estimated 2.5 million viewers tuned in.

Sarah Link, Marketing Director at La Redoute, said: “Since the start of last season’s follow-up, more and more of our customers have opted for Hamptons-worthy neutrals, panelling, natural fabrics and white bookcases.
“Looking at the accompanying Google data, it appears that the pursuit of family-style Roy interiors is a trend that appears to be continuing. It’s fascinating to see how much our viewing habits can inspire our interior design choices – and how quickly consumers switch once their interior design captures the imagination.”
Architectural Digest magazine’s Elizabeth Fazzare said: “Fans of interior design will certainly not be happy with the end of the show. Sequel’s jargon-heavy dialogue and fast-paced drama make it hard to put down [ourselves] away from the casting of characters, but we always kept an eye on the sets.
“To play like the one percent, you have to live like them.”
