Love Island finalist Samie Elishi shared a tearful video of herself discussing a recent cancer scare on her YouTube channel on Friday.
The brunette beauty, 22, told her followers that fans spotted a lump on her neck that doctors say is ‘grade 3’, meaning they can’t tell if it’s cancer or not.
Samie said: “It’s a two inch lump on my thyroid,” before revealing she was awaiting surgery where doctors could take a biopsy.
She admitted that she had not released a detailed statement about her recent split from beau Tom Clare due to her ongoing health problems.
Told the camera: “It’s hard, Tom and I split up. It ended on a good note. Nobody did anything bad, there’s still a lot of love there.”

“It just didn’t work out on the outside and we agreed on most things.
“There is no bad blood, me and Tom. I will never say a bad word about him and he won’t say a bad word about me either.’

She then tearfully discussed her upcoming surgery, saying: “They basically cut your throat… I shouldn’t be mad because I’m so grateful that people sent messages and I heard now.” I am so grateful’.

Reality star Demi (24) announced in December 2021 that she is cancer-free, just seven months after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
The main symptom of thyroid cancer is a lump in the front of the neck. However, the disease tends to develop slowly and may initially cause no symptoms.

Samie finally broke her silence on their split on Thursday, a day after her ex confirmed the news on his Instagram stories, where he admitted he was “gutted” their relationship was over.
And after receiving numerous messages about their split, Sami opened up about the split on Thursday when she shared that she “really didn’t want to do an Instagram story about it.”
Taking to her own social media, she wrote: “I really didn’t want to write an Instagram story about this, but the comments and messages I’ve gotten since Tom posted his story yesterday are just not fair.
“I will talk about everything soon, but the time is not right at the moment (which I will also explain).
Samie concluded: “Thank you for the lovely messages, they do not go unnoticed.”
It came after footballer Tom, 23, took to his Instagram stories on Wednesday to break his silence following reports that the couple had gone their separate ways.
It was announced on Monday that Tom and estate agent Samie had split just a month after filming wrapped on Love Island.
Responding to the reports, Tom took to social media to confirm their split but insisted they were still “on good terms” and said he had “nothing but love” for Samie.
The reality TV star, who met Samie on the winter series of Love Island 2023, did not give a reason for their split but admitted he was “healthy” that their relationship was over.
He wrote: “I didn’t think I would write this, but Samie and I parted ways. We still get along well and I have nothing but love and respect for her. I’m sorry it’s ending but I wish Samie the best.

To which Samie candidly replied: “I’ll be honest, mine was second.” I didn’t expect to meet anyone.”
News of Samie and Tom’s separation was first reported on Monday amid claims that the couple had called off their romance.

A source told The Sun: “Unfortunately, Samie and Tom have decided to call it quits. There is a lot of love and respect, but it just didn’t go anywhere.
“The distance between them was too big and they’re both really focused on their post-Love Island careers.”
Fans feared the couple had broken up after not posting to each other on their social media accounts for two weeks.
Tom had previously said he would like to move somewhere where Samie would make their relationship work, but there was “no rush” to do so.
Meanwhile, the two traveled to each other’s homes to “spend a few days together” and tried to make their romance work.
After appearing on the popular ITV dating show, Tom and Samie made their relationship official with a romantic encounter.
