The series was renewed for a second season and the showrunners have not revealed any details for a long time. However, recently it became known who will play the main role in the sequel. The season will consist of eight episodes and will feature four new members. Gail Rankin plays Alys Rivers, the Witch Queen of Harrenhal, Abubakar Salim plays Admiral Velaryon Alyn van Hull, Gwaine Hightower plays Freddie Fox, and Simon Strong plays Simon Russell Beale. Deadline reports.
It is worth noting that only the latter is already an experienced and fairly well-known actor, while the public is not very familiar with the rest.
