For the second consecutive year, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences hosted its Oscar gala on the second Sunday in March. The return to normal comes after the 2022 ceremony on March 27 and the 2021 show on April 25, which were postponed due to Covid.
The 96th Academy Awards will once again be broadcast live on ABC from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
The Oscar nominations will be announced on Tuesday 23 January after the Christmas Week shortlists are announced on Thursday 21 December.
The annual Governors Awards will be presented on Saturday 18 November and the Sci-Tech Oscars will be presented on Friday 23 February.
