In the photos you can see below, Harper wore a pair of black Nike shorts and a matching short sleeve tee as she was out on a rare errand with her father. She completed her look with a pair of white sneakers and layered bracelets and rocked her long straight blonde hair. Michael, 61, wore a big blue hat, turquoise shoes and shorts, and a sleeveless sweatshirt. He brought a drink and accessorized with a watch and sunglasses. The father-daughter duo seemed to be talking, even though he was Harper’s twin finely it was nowhere to be seen.
The most recent photos come just under three months after Lisa Marie’s tragic death at the age of 54. The singer and daughter of the legendary Elvis Presley passed away after going into complete cardiac arrest on January 12 at his home in the Los Angeles area.
Michael, who the singer was married to for 15 years before their split ended in 2021, revealed his daughters were grieving in a statement released several days later. “We are all saddened by the sudden death of Lisa Marie Presley, mother of my two beautiful twin daughters Harper and Finley,” he said in a Jan. 18 statement to PEOPLE. “Nothing prepares us for such an unexpected tragedy. It’s incomprehensible.
She went on to point out that her daughters are her top priority after their mother’s sudden death. “The most important thing for me right now is taking care of my daughters, making sure they feel safe and loved at all times,” she continued. “They both have incredible spirits and will carry our family legacy for the rest of their lives. Since they were born, Harper and Finley have brought me deep joy and I remain faithful to them. We ask for privacy at this incredibly difficult time.”
After incredibly volatile divorce and custody proceedings, Michael was awarded full custody of the twins following the death of Lisa Marie. He was paying her ex-husband $6,000 a month in child support at the time of her death. A family battle is underway over ownership of Lisa Marie.
