Jeremy Renner, 52, was all smiles as she posed on a red carpet for the first time since the snowplow accident. The actor went to the premiere of his new Disney+ reality show, innervations, which restores used vehicles for underprivileged communities around the world, on Tuesday at the Westwood Regency Village Theater in Los Angeles, Calif., wearing a navy suit, tie and black shoes. He held a cane to help him walk and had his hair styled in a smooth side part as he positioned himself confidently in front of many flashing cameras.

In addition to posing on the red carpet, Jeremy has been giving interviews on a motorized scooter. In one of them, he talked about how determined he was to keep the innervations track debut, although still recovering from injuries. “I was really convinced that they weren’t going to push it as long as there was momentum with the heads of Disney, with us, with the timing of this in all of our lives. I felt good,” she said. Variety. “I’m looking a little haggard right now, but I promise you this program is what drives me to get better and makes me want to get better every day.”

“I made it a goal to walk on this carpet,” she continued. “And here I am, enjoying it. Otherwise I would have fallen into an undated abyss and lost traction and excitement and been very, very, very frustrated. I’m very excited right now because we’re here.”

Jeremy’s appearance at the premiere comes just three months after he suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a snowplow while trying to stop it from hitting his nephew on New Year’s Day. He broke more than 30 bones in his body and suffered a collapsed lung as a result of the accident, and was taken to a medical center after lying on the snow-covered ground for 45 minutes. He also recently revealed that he lost 20 pounds and quit smoking during the ordeal.

“It was like a New Year’s resolution, so I lost about 20 pounds,” she said during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “Quit smoking. Haven’t smoked since. Easiest way to quit smoking, I assure you. I couldn’t imagine not doing it and quitting. I’d be a disaster as a human being. But I almost killed myself. I thought to smoke.It was easy.
