The TV personality shared the decision via Instagram while three months sober, explaining that she has felt “at her best” since quitting.
She explained: “I had a breakthrough in therapy and decided to stop drinking, I didn’t want to admit it but it’s a huge trigger for my anxiety.
“It directly affects my mental health negatively and right now my focus is on feeling good, finding happiness in my life and not trying to escape it,” she wrote.
Continued: “It’s now 12 weeks and I’m enjoying sober life, don’t miss the ‘rest’, feel more energetic, my skin looks great and I sleep much better.
Millie went on to say that she might start drinking again in the future, before asking if any of her followers had done the same.
“I’m not saying I’ll never drink alcohol again, I’m just saying now, I won’t and I want to move on. Has anyone else thrown away the alcohol? How do you like it? I would like to hear from more down-to-earth, curious people.”
