Singer Yaroslav Dronov (popularly called SHAMAN), who hit another jackpot, risks being out of work soon. The artist’s time on the big stage is numbered, says music critic Alexei Ostudin.
Having given an ultimatum to write his name, the singer went ahead and won the tender for a performance in honor of the city day in Norilsk. For him, Dronov asked 8 million net. In an exclusive commentary for PopCornNews, Ostudin hastened to clarify: the artist himself does not get his hands on more than 5 million, but even this amount is considered sky-high by the standards of domestic show business.
“It is important to clarify here: when it comes to public procurement, this is the amount, as they say, on a turnkey basis. As a rule, in addition to the artist’s fee, it already includes the cost of the singer’s entrance, accommodation, payment for VIP rooms. In addition, this amount includes the salaries of the organizers. SHAMAN is now worth about 5 million. “Treshechka” is a domestic, technical rider plus the merits of an intermediary, ”he clarified the situation.
Ostudin is sure: SHAMAN is doing the right thing, making money for a rainy day, but the musician’s prospects are unlikely to envy.
“I have always said that SHAMAN is a beneficiary. Lately he has earned almost more than everyone else. I know stories when the fee cost more. The story goes that SHAMAN’s popularity is bright enough, but hardly for long. Let him enjoy his earnings, ”he summarized.
