And Brian Cox shared that he interacts and sympathizes with his on-screen character more than viewers do.
The Scottish actor, 76, explained that despite growing up in poverty as a child, he and Logan actually have more in common than many might think.
Brian, who is both hardworking and a self-starter, expressed his sympathy for his character while giving insight into the reasons behind his actions.
In his new cover interview with Haute Living New York, he talked more about the role and why it inspired him to other projects.

While Logan is known for his tough business acumen and no-nonsense attitude, Brian doesn’t see his character as a villain at all.
The actor told the publication: “Logan’s not that bad. I actually have a lot of sympathy for Logan…he has these horrible entitled kids, but he’s not so entitled himself; he has empathy that his kids didn’t have
“He thinks he deserves everything he’s done … and he’s not wrong,” he continued.
He himself grew up in poverty in Dundee before finding fame through film and television. There are both contradictions and parallels between him and Logan as they are both self-made.
And from a lavish lifestyle on screen in Succession, Brian takes the other route in his new documentary How the Other Half Live.
When talking about how money can tear the rich apart, Succession shared that Logan inspired him to look the other way.
Brian reveals that he comes from a working-class family and is the youngest of five children, and is seen exploring other families in that position throughout the project.
“It was very important for me to do what makes sense for Logan and what Logan stands for, because Logan is all about money. I realized I had to do something,” he shared.

AWhile glossing over the ongoing controversies surrounding the Megxit, Brian claimed that while people think the Sussexes have an “innocence”, he believes Meghan was fully aware she was joining an institution.
“You can’t go into a system where someone is already trained to behave in a certain way and then expect them to shut down,” he told the outlet. “I mean, she knew what she was getting into.”
The Emmy winner also claimed that Meghan “obviously” had an “ambition” when she married Harry.
“The childhood dreams of marrying Prince Charming and all that crap that we see as a fantasy that our life can be in our dreams,” he argued, calling himself a “Cinderella person.”
But Cox added: “In my view we shouldn’t have a monarchy. It’s not viable; It doesn’t make sense.”
