Razzies Name “Blonde” Worst Picture; Tom Hanks ‘wins’ twice, including for his ‘latex-covered face’ in ‘Elvis’

Blonde Oscar-nominated star Ana de Armas won the Grand Prize – Worst Picture – and Worst Screenplay for writer-director Andrew Dominick among winners announced for the 43rd Annual Razzie Awards.

Tom Hanks, meanwhile, has two Razzie characters to pair with his Oscars.

Hanks, “who has spent his entire career honing his acting skills with great success, went too far with his portrayal of Colonel Tom Parker in the otherwise excellent biopic. elvissaid the raid organizers. As a result, he won for worst supporting actor and worst movie combination (for Hanks and his latex face).

In fact, things could have gotten worse for Hanks, believe it or not, because he was also nominated in the worst actor category for his role as Geppetto Disney’s Pinocchio. That category was instead won by Hanks’ fellow Oscar winner Jared Leto disease. Leto’s co-star Adria Arjona won worst supporting actress.

Disney’s Pinocchio didn’t walk away empty-handed though, winning for Worst Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel.

Spoken of BlondeThe Razzies call the Netflix project “misogynistic, lascivious and misleading” and say it “shamelessly exploits the memory of the late Marilyn Monroe”. Blonde In fact, he led this year’s nominations with eight, so getting just two Razzies can be considered a victory. De Armas, who is nominated for an Oscar for her role as Monroe, was not nominated for a Razzie.

Another surprise was that the Razzies went on a raid themselves for the first time in their history. The awards cited her mistake in nominating a pre-teen for worst actress, which took a well-deserved beating. The Golden Raspberry Awards Committee issued a public apology to the actress and changed the rules to not allow anyone under the age of 18 until the award organization was placed on the ballot. It won by a landslide.
