Matthew Lawrence recently opened up about his new girlfriend, Chilli, who he dated last year.
The 43-year-old graduate of The Boy Meets World explained to Entertainment Tonight how he met the 52-year-old TLC singer on a last-minute flight.
And when asked if the new couple would like to have children, he replied: “I hope so.” That’s the game plan. That’s what we’re trying to do.’
The Ms Doubtfire actress explained: “My life is in full bloom now. I can spend time with a wonderful woman like Chilli.
Last year, Lawrence finalized his divorce from professional dancer Cheryl Burke, to whom he was married for almost three years.

Speaking about his new pairing with Chilli, he said: “I never got to know [this] kind of related to it. She is a very, very special person.”
He added: “I wish more people on the planet were like her. We’d be much better off.”
The two crossed paths while on the same flight to Atlanta.
“It was really the flight that spoke and then said, ‘Hey, you know what? Let’s keep in touch’ and it almost didn’t happen,” Lawrence said of the coincidence.
“Literally an hour before departure they said, ‘Okay, we put you on this flight. You have to go,’” he recalls.
They also happened to meet at an event where Matthew spoke during a panel discussion.
At first, their bond was platonic, he noted. “It was just true friendship, you know, for five or six months, just long stretches on the phone, getting to know each other, seeing each other here and there.”
They finally took their relationship to the next level and now the actor has met Chilli’s family, including their son Tron, 25, who she shares with ex Dallas Austin.
News of Chilli and Matthew’s romance came in January after TMZ reported that the couple became more than just friends just before Thanksgiving.
The lovebirds spent Thanksgiving and Christmas together in Atlanta, where Matthew Chilli’s family was introduced.
The couple took their romance official to Instagram in late December when they shared a video of them dancing in their pajamas.

In the video, Chilli and Matthew wore matching rompers as they showed off their moves and sang along to a-ha’s Take on Me.
They tagged the joint Instagram post with three hashtags: #newyearsshenanigans #onesiegang #wecute.”
Chilli’s rep, Christal Jordan, confirmed the romance to People, adding: “I’ve been with Chilli since 2005 and I’ve never seen her so in love. She’s glowing. They’re really cute together.”
