Aaron Carter’s mother posts shocking photos of his ‘death scene’ bathroom in a desperate bid to get police to investigate his death as a crime, despite the coroner saying it was an accidental drug overdose

Aaron Carter’s mother has released footage of the gruesome scene in which her son died, as she believes he was a crime victim and did not die of an overdose.

Jane Carter posted several photos of the tragic bathroom scene on her social media to bring the matter back to the attention of the authorities.

The footage was taken at Mr. Carter’s home in Lancaster, California, on the day of the troubled singer’s death on November 5 last year.

One of the photos showed the bathtub in which the I Want Candy singer died, filled with discolored water, likely due to the natural physical aftermath of death.

The other images show towels spread out on the bathroom floor surrounded by more toned water.

Ms Cater said she had the full support of her son’s friends and family in releasing the footage to bring the case back into the spotlight.

She said they did not take her seriously and hoped news of the gruesome scene of his death would prompt police to re-investigate Mr Carter’s death.

She also said it was wrong for the police to “drum up” the house when the housekeeper discovered the body last year and said that “at least an investigation should have been started”.

“Because of my son’s mental illness and the prescription drugs they are on [the police] I just wanted it to be something simple that they didn’t have the time or inclination to do.’

The devastated mum added: “We want justice. We want answers.

“There are people who must be held responsible.”

An autopsy performed by the LA County Coroner’s Office has already confirmed that Mr. Carter’s family did not drown.

Authorities determined he had no water in his lungs, so they believe he died in the bathtub after an overdose.

But both Ms Carter and her son’s fiancee, Melanie Martin, 30, have previously claimed a drug deal he entered into on the night of his death could have led to his overdose.

In an interview with TMZ in January, Martin said she texted Mr. Got Carter’s phone from a man who demanded $800 for an unknown drug.

Mr Carter, who was in rehab several times between 2011 and 2017, reportedly replied to the man that he no longer needed the drug, to which the man replied that it did not matter as he still owed the money.

He then asked if he was being threatened, and that’s where the news ends.

Ms. Martin submitted the text exchange as evidence to the Los Angeles Police Department after the tragic death.

Former child star Carter spent his life with drug addiction. It was previously reported that law enforcement found prescription pills and cans of compressed air in the bathroom where he died.

The star’s manager, Taylor Helgeson, said they discussed his participation in a rehabilitation program, which met with opposition from Carter.

He said they were considering three months in Utah to “detox and develop new physical habits” – with Carter saying he wanted to focus on regaining custody of his one-year-old son Prince before entering rehab.
