Mend a broken heart! Avril Lavignerecent ex girlfriend, sun mod, 35, opened up about her “broken” heart in an emotional new Instagram post the week after the split. “In 1 week my whole life has completely changed… I just know there is a plan for everything. I will keep my head up + I will always listen to my heart, even when it is broken,” she read her lengthy caption on Tuesday. “Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing. I have best friends from all over the world, thank you for always supporting me. See you on stage.”
Shortly after the “Flames” hitmaker shared the carousel of photos, along with his message about his state of mind, many of Mod’s 728,000 followers took to the comments to show their support. “You are a true professional and very important to so many people. Never forget that!” remarked one admirer, while another added, “No matter what mod happens, just remember that 5 minutes may be your finest hour. Do not miss it. I love you forever my friend, never, never give up. Even a fan account of Avril wanted to send some positive vibes. “I’m thinking about you right now, which must be hard! I’m so sorry for you, I really send you love,” they wrote.
Meanwhile, Avril appeared lighthearted in a new Instagram post the same day she attended Paris Fashion Week. “PFW,” she captioned the photoset, along with a black-and-white heart emoji. For the black-and-white photos, the “Complicated” singer sported a full ensemble of shorts and embroidery that included the following phrases: “Break My Heart,” “Be Yourself,” and “Be Patient.” The 38-year-old blonde beauty has yet to publicly discuss her split from Mod at this time.
As mentioned above, Avril and Mod broke off their engagement on Feb. 21, just a month before their one-year engagement anniversary. At the time, Avril’s reps confirmed the split a page sixHowever, Mod’s representatives were unaware of the news. “They were together and engaged for three days when he went on tour, so if anything has changed, this is news for him,” the “Down” musician’s team told the outlet.
