Khloe Kardashian is being sued by a former maid who claims she was fired after returning from a leave she took to recover from a leg injury.

Former assistant Matthew Manhard claims in his lawsuit that he began working for Khloe in 2019 before reportedly being fired in November 2022, according to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ.

Manhard claims he informed Khloe, 38, that he could not work after suffering a knee injury in May 2022. However, when he tried to return to work in November, Manhard claims he was fired instead.

During his tenure, Manhard also claimed that he was often so busy completing tasks for Khloe that he was unable to take his legally required breaks.

This lawsuit comes just days after it was revealed that Khloe’s Good American clothing line is also being sued.

Manhard also claims she did not pay him overtime, despite his often 12-hour days.

DailyMail.com has reached out to a Khloe representative for comment on the lawsuit.

Khloe’s team fired back and denied Manhard’s claims.

“It is unfortunate to hear that a former employee has chosen this path. Matthew was properly rated and compensated for his role,” Khloe’s legal representative told TMZ.

Regarding the vacation Manhard took, the spokesperson said: “Towards the end of his tenure he was on leave for a long period of time and the role eventually had to be replaced. We will not condone false accusations and will prove this is a frivolous lawsuit.”

Manhard is seeking monetary damages from Khloe, alleging that she violated numerous California labor laws.

This is just the latest lawsuit filed in connection with Khloe.

Earlier this month, it emerged that a model sued Khloe’s Good American clothing line for just over $100,000, claiming she wasn’t paid on time.

The model, Jourdan Whitehead, claims she was paid $3,500 for a day’s work, which she completed on Nov. 17, 2021, court documents obtained by The Blast show.

She claims she was due to receive her salary on December 10, 2021, but did not receive payment for another three months on March 11, 2022.

Whitehead, who describes himself as a “professional actor” in the filing, is now suing the company for a late payment penalty.

Whitehead says she is now eligible for a late payment penalty under California Labor Code 203, claiming Good American “did not pay on time.” [her] her reward was incalculable therein [Good American] had to pay on time, it was possible, but I didn’t want to.’

Legal documents read: “Labor Law Section 203 provides that if an employer fails to pay wages on a timely basis, the employee’s wages will continue as a penalty until paid, or for a maximum period of 30 days from the due date of wages, regardless of which period comes,” reports The Blast.

Because she was compensated more than 30 days after her expected payment date, Whitehead says she is “entitled to a penalty of $105,000.00, which is equivalent to that.” [her] Daily rate multiplied by 30 days.’

She is also trying to get Good American to pay for her legal fees and all other related legal fees.
