Lisa Wilkinson’s new book has taken a hit on the road, and prices have plummeted as the all-encompassing book hit bargain boxes at retailers across Australia.
The project’s guest memoir, How It Should Be, was cut in major retail stores and was discounted more than 70% in some stores.
Kmart Australia is selling the paperback version of the book for $6, below the suggested retail price of $24.

Meanwhile, Big W has a special online price for the hardcover: it’s down from its $45 retail price to just $12.73.
Amazon also dropped the price to $12, while Booktopia got the book at $36. Only Dymocks stuck to its $45 hardcover price.
On Booktopia, users left reviews calling it “uninteresting” for the moment.

He said no one believed that the pay gap between him and Stefanovic was once “so unusual” as they hosted the breakfast show.
However, it was later reported that Wilkinson had earned more than Stefanovic over the years at the start of their on-air collaboration, and was only able to negotiate a higher salary when Seven tried to take Stefanovic away.
Wilkinson neglected to mention this important detail in his memoirs, focusing instead on pay gaps during his later years at Today’s management.
