“Actually, the truth is, you weren’t there with Takeoff when he was alive,” Offset’s J Prince said. “So for you to take these positions that you’re taking, you know what I mean? I have people everywhere so I listen to all kinds of things.
The Rap-A-Lot CEO warned Offset to “never put myself in a position where I have to defend myself. That would not be healthy for you. J Prince continued: “I will not throw stones and hide my hand. I’ll let them know. Because I listen to what is being said. And then it’s all love.”
Following J Prince’s comments, Offset took to his Instagram Stories and applauded the entire Prince family. “How dare either of you talk about me and assume an affair? I don’t know you from a can of paint,” the ‘New To You’ rapper said. ‘You don’t know how my brother and I swing.’ Offset criticized J Prince for not ‘thinking’ about Takeoff’s mom and all. of his family.He also accused J Prince of playing “internet games” when discussing his relationship with Takeoff in interviews.

Takeoff tragically lost his life at the age of 28 in front of a Houston bowling alley on November 1. It took Offset two weeks to cry before breaking her silence on Takeoff’s death, posting a statement on Instagram saying it “doesn’t feel real” to talk about taking off under these tragic circumstances. “My heart is broken and I have so much to say but I just can’t find the words,” he wrote. “I know someone with a soul like yours is in heaven right now. I hope you can see how much we love and miss you. You left a hole in my heart that will never be filled” Offset said.
At Takeoff’s funeral, Offset was seen extremely distraught over his friend’s death. Lui gave an emotional speech at the funeral on Nov. 10, saying Takeoff “changed music culture forever.” Offset and Takeoff formed the Migos, along with Quavo, 31, in 2008.
