Geelong player Rhys Stanley and his wife Kirsten have announced the arrival of their third child together, a baby boy named Hudson Edward Stanley.

The 32-year-old AFL star shared the happy news on his Instagram on Tuesday, along with a series of photos of the adorable toddler.

“Our little guy wasn’t playing around and decided he wanted to get his introduction to the world done quickly, which made for some fun!” wrote Rhys.

“So proud of my super wife @kirstenstanley. We are two incredibly happy parents and can’t wait for the journey ahead with our family.”

Kirsten also announced the exciting news on her Instagram page, writing: “Our little man came over quick and quick, hoping those walls in the study were soundproof.”

“Can’t thank the amazing staff at @epworthbabies enough who have been amazing! We were in our newborn bubble and oh my, there is no such thing.

She continued: “Our family of 5. We are beyond grateful and absolutely in love with our little Huddi.”

The couple also share son Jagger and daughter Sloane.

Rhys and Kirsten were married in 2018 on her parents’ farm near Margaret River in Western Australia.

The two said yes under a wooden arch, their son Jagger acting as ring bearer.

Among the 110 in attendance were Rhys’ Geelong teammates Patrick Dangerfield, Joel Selwood, Mitch Duncan and Zach Tuohy.

“The most extraordinary year we have ever had. I’m looking forward to 2019 as Mr and Mrs,” Kirsten said at the time.
