Godfather of Harlem is one of Stan’s most acclaimed drama series.
And the Australian streaming platform has now released the first episode of the third season of the series.
In the show, Bumpy Johnson, played by Forest Whitaker, will continue his fight against the Cuban Mafia for control of Harlem.

However, the family and community of the feared mob boss are threatened by rival Italians, unscrupulous assassins from Latin America and the CIA.
In a teaser for the new season, Bumpy says, “This heroin was the only chance I had to get those blocks under control.”
“Now I’m crawling back to the Italians with my checkbook,” he adds as large boxes of illegal drugs are burned.

Ilfenesh Hadera, who plays Mayme Hatcher Johnson, tells Bumpy, “You either work with the Italians or you fight them.”
The series also stars Vincent D’Onofrio, Lucy Fry, Antoinette Crowe-Legacy and Giancarlo Esposito.
Michael Raymond-James and Jason Alan Carvell also star in the new season.

In 2020, Godfather of Harlem won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Main Title Design.
The series was also nominated for Outstanding Drama Series at the NAACP Image Awards last year.
