Brendan Fraser slims down after gaining weight and wearing fat suit for ‘The Whale’ at BAFTA Tea Party



brendan fraserThe 54-year-old showed off her weight loss after shedding the pounds she gained for her amazing movie The whale, at the BAFTA Tea Party in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Saturday. The talented actor posed on the red carpet of the event in a light gray suit and navy tie, as well as black shoes. He also donned a pair of sunglasses and smiled as the cameras captured the epic moment.

In addition to posing by himself, Brendan posed with his beautiful partner Joanna Moore. She wore a long sleeveless red dress and had her long blonde hair loose as she held her arm and flashed a big smile. She also grabbed a silver clutch and added some light colored pointy heels to the look.

Brendan’s BAFTA appearance comes after he made a lasting impression with his role as Charlie, a £600 English teacher trying to reconnect with his 17-year-old daughter. The film is based on the 2012 play written by Samuel D. Hunter, and Brendan had to gain weight and wear a fat suit to change into the right size to play the character.

“I built muscles I didn’t know I had,” she told reporters, including one for Variety, at a press conference in Venice in September, ahead of the film’s world premiere. “I also had a dizzy feeling at the end of the day when all the brakes came off; it was like stepping off the dock on a ship in Venice.
