The Golden Globes celebrated the best in film and television, but there were a few honorees who couldn’t attend the ceremony. After missing the show, Kevin Costner, Zendaya and Amanda Seyfried took to social media to express their gratitude for their wins.
Zendaya accepted a trophy for her work euphoria Best Actress in a TV Drama Award. The star apologized on Instagram for not attending the awards ceremony and thanked the Globes for the “incredible honor”.
the dune Star also had a few words for her fellow contestants, saying: “It’s a privilege to be named with you. I admire you all deeply.”
Zendaya continued, “Thank you to me euphoria Family, none of this would be possible without you. Finally, I want to say a big thank you to everyone who included Rue in theirs. I think everyone knows how much she means to me, but that she can mean something to someone else is a gift. I’m really at a loss for words as I write this, all I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you. Good night.”
Amanda Seyfried, who won for her portrayal of Elizabeth Holmes in the Hulu series The Fallout shared a video on Instagram explaining that she was in New York but had a video call with the team’s team.
“Aw, I missed a big night there. I’m in New York. I was on FaceTime with mine Go out Team. My big Go out Team, that’s why I received this award. It’s a real honor to be a part of it,” she said.
Seyfried said she missed the gala because she was “filming something magical and musical”.
She concluded: “Rather than an endorsement, I’m here to say thank you to all mine Go out family and my family. And thank you Golden Globes.”

Kevin Costner won for his role in yellowstone in the category “Best Actor in a TV Series – Drama”. Sharing a few words on Instagram, the actor said: “Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press and @goldenglobes for this wonderful honor and to the team at @yellowstone for bringing John Dutton’s world to life. I share this appreciation with my cast, the producers and our incredible crew. Most of all, we want to thank the fans of our show who love Yellowstone Ranch like their own.”

Costner gave a more detailed explanation of why he was going to miss the Golden Globes on Twitter before the awards ceremony began.
“I’m so sorry for everyone who watched the Golden Globes,” he said. Chris and I can’t be there. Yesterday we had to pick up the children from school in Santa Barbara. This is the second time in five years that the highway has been flooded. We were on the wrong side of town and couldn’t go back last night. We couldn’t even get home in time this morning because the highways were closed. No one is sadder than us that we can’t be there.”

Regina Hall presented the category in which Costner won and after it was revealed that the yellowstone actor won, the Girls Trip star accepted the award for him, which became one of the memorable moments of the night.
“Kevin Costner, he wanted so bad…” Hall began before bursting into laughter.
Hall tried to keep reading the teleprompter as she giggled, “I always like the way they write it. It’s like, ‘He wanted so badly…’ No, I’m sure he wanted.. .But because of the — it rained — unprecedented weather and flooding, he has to seek shelter on the spot — in Santa Barbara.
The actor continued as the audience burst into laughter: “Jesus. No, it’s a sad story at the moment. He’s stuck in Santa Barbara. Let’s all pray. No, that’s terrible. It’s true: everyone, we do, we pray and we hope that everyone affected by these storms stays safe. I will immediately accept this award on your behalf, Kevin.”
