Kris Jenner took to Instagram on Thursday to pay a “heartbreaking” tribute to Tristan Thompson’s late mother Andrea, who died that day after suffering a sudden heart attack.
Tristan had daughter True, four, and a baby boy born to Kris’ daughter Khloe Kardashian in August, meaning Kris and Andrea shared two grandchildren.
“I am so saddened by the sudden death of Tristan’s mother Andrea,” Kris (67) wrote. “My thoughts, prayers and all my love are with Tristan, Amari, Dishawn and Daniel.”

Her post came alongside an Instagram album full of throwback photos of Andrea with Tristan, Khloe and Kris herself.
In a group photo, Kris and Khloe stood next to Tristan and Andrea while Khloe was heavily pregnant with True.
“You were the most wonderful, devoted, devoted and selfless mother and such a loving, kind and wonderful grandmother,” Kris wrote.

“What a blessing you were to your family!!! I will miss you Andre. I will miss your happiness and beautiful light,” the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch continued.
“Thank you for always praying for us, lifting us up and encouraging us on our journey. Rest in peace beautiful angel.’
Khloe and Tristan had a rollercoaster relationship from 2017 to 2021, repeatedly plagued by his series of infidelities.

Despite their romantic bust, however, they remained cooperative co-parents to the two young children they welcomed into the world together.
Khloe has steadfastly remained by Tristan’s side even through his current personal crisis, and the couple were privately flown to Toronto just hours after Andrea’s death.
