The darkness is gone, the light is upon us.”

In response to Whitney’s seemingly dark post, many of her 367,000 followers took to the comments section to react to the star’s caption. “’The darkness is gone, WHITNEY,’” commented one fan alongside a laughing emoji. A second fan apparently noticed that the “darkness” Whitney mentioned was Jen. “Darkness has just been sentenced to 6.5 years in prison,” the fan wrote with a smiley emoji. However, a third follower was quick to tell Whitney to edit her caption, writing, “Please still have time to delete dark comment lol.”
Jen was sentenced to six and a half years in prison on January 6 for her role in a telemarketing scheme. While Bravo declined to comment on the matter, the 49-year-old’s attorney, priya chaudhrysaid Hollywood life“Jen Shah is deeply sorry for the mistakes she has made and deeply sorry for the people she has hurt. Jen has faith in our justice system, understands that anyone who breaks the law will be punished, and accepts this sentence as just. Jen will pay her debt to society, and when she is a free woman again, she promises to pay off her debt to the victims harmed by her mistakes.”

Whitney sat next to the model and actress. Giulia Volpe, 32, and Andy on Wednesday night to chat about the previous season of the Bravo TV show. Specifically, the 54-year-old host asked the blonde beauty Your thoughts in Jen and Whitney’s sentence he didn’t hold back. “I’m really nervous for her and her family,” the 36-year-old said in response. At that comment, Whitney joked and asked Andy if he should “extend his trip to see” the outcome of Jen’s conviction.

In the midst of Jen’s sentencing, the United States Department of Justice issued the following press release on January 6: “JENNIFER SHAH was sentenced today by the District of the United States.” Judge Sidney H. Stein to 78 months in prison for operating a nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme. SHAH previously pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit cable fraud in connection with telemarketing.” The mother of two pleaded guilty on July 11, 2022, following her arrest on March 30, 2021.
United States Attorney damian williams noted in the press release that Jen is now “facing the consequences” of her actions. “With today’s sentencing, Jennifer Shah finally faces the consequences of many years of abusing elderly and vulnerable victims,” she said in the statement. “These people were lured by false promises of financial security, but in reality Shah and her accomplices defrauded their savings, leaving them with nothing to show for. This conviction and ruling demonstrates once again that we will continue to vigorously protect victims of financial fraud and hold those who participate in fraudulent schemes accountable.”
