Scarlett Moffatt shares photo of her family looking worlds away from their Gogglebox days as they spend Christmas together six years after leaving the show

She rose to fame after appearing with her family on Channel 4’s Gogglebox.

And Scarlett Moffatt took to Instagram on Boxing Day to share some snaps as they celebrated the festive season together and showed off their changed looks.

The presenter shared a photo of her mum Betty, dad Mark and sister Ava, 16, looking almost unrecognizable from their time on the show before she left in 2016.

Enjoying the festive day as a family, Scarlett shared a photo of her family in their signature spot: a couch in the living room.

Six years after she last appeared on the show, her mother Betty has traded her dark brown locks for a platinum blonde look.

Her sister Ava, who appeared on the show before she was a teenager, grew up and sat between her parents as she smiled for the photo.

Scarlett herself looked glamorous for the day in a black tie-dye dress with a maxi design and three-quarter sleeves.

Her boyfriend Scott Dobinson also spent the day with her and family as the pair smiled for a sweet snap together.

Underneath the photo carousel, she wrote: “As you get older, you realize that the magic of Christmas is loved and everything else is a bonus.

“Honestly, I had one of the best Christmases ever spending it with my family, my best friends, my dogs and of course my @scottdobby. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas.”

The Moffatt family rose to fame on the Channel 4 reality show from 2014 to 2016 before being axed when Scarlett was heading for an appearance on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

After leaving Gogglebox, Scarlett admitted her family were “terrified” at being left out of the show, and producers were also reluctant to let her go without her.
