This season, beauty influencers are taking inspiration from desserts and drinks. Back in September, Hailey Bieber debuted coffee nail art, and now Selena Gomez has shown off her nails in a nude shade that was later compared to a vanilla tea color.
Tom Bachik (star artist) said that for the manicure to look natural, the shade should be slightly lighter than the skin tone. The coating can be made glossy or matte. If you want a brighter option, try rubbing. Bachik applies a thick layer of milky varnish and then uses a top coat to create highlights.
By the way, this isn’t Selena’s first controversial nail art. Recently, the singer showed off an emerald manicure in the shade of cider.
