Jennifer Lopez is undoubtedly one of this year’s top beauty influencers. She set the trend for the “rich girl” manicure and recently shared her idea for a New Year’s nail design in a champagne tone. In the new video she shared on her social networks, the singer explained how she gave her lips a perfect shape with red lipstick.
First, Jennifer Lopez, who can almost always be recognized by her signature lip makeup (brown liner and nude gloss), notes that she loves the holiday season because she can wear red lipstick. “I like to do this with nude pencil, so I always start with that,” she says. “Some people think you should use red lip liner. I don’t like doing this. I like the draft to be neutral. It makes your lips look fuller.”
That’s not the only advice he gives to his subscribers. “Then choose your favorite shade of red and apply it as close to the center as possible,” she says, applying lipstick to the center of her lips. “Then I take a lip brush and fill in the corners.” At this point, Jennifer Lopez takes a small flat brush and completes the contour of her lips.
